Nasal Valve Collapse Treatment
Revision Nasal Surgery After Post-Surgical Septal Deviation
This patient was referred to me by the physician who performed her preliminary nasal surgery meant to repair a nasal septal fracture secondary to childhood nasal trauma. While her first surgery was initially successful, her septum deviated causing nasal valve collapse and obstructing her airway almost completely on the right side. I performed an open repair of the septal fracture and used an irradiated rib cartilage graft to repair her nasal valves.
